We now have separate areas for feeding and grazing. Calves spend much of their time feeding on mothers' milk and they develop their natural herd instincts among their own age group. |

Here are 3 pictures and a little story about us and our animals. We have chosen to raise our own Full-Blooded Beefalo bull for breeding. While we wait for our Sam to grow into his post as herd sire we have an outstanding and impressive bull, 'Big Red.' Coincidentally our lead cow, #207 is also 'Big Red'. She comes when we call because she loves apples and a scratch on her ears and is always hoping for a few. Obviously when she moves to a different area the other cows follow her. When we call to the Bull, 'Red' he picks his head up to see who is calling but it isn't an apple he wants.he is looking for the cows.
